SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, May 31, 2022 — Carenet Health—a 24/7 provider of healthcare consumer support, clinical services and access to care—has hired Troy Devlin to serve as Vice President (VP) of Business Development.

Devlin, a leading medical and diagnostics strategist, will focus specifically on building client relationships with healthcare ancillary service organizations that could benefit from Carenet’s innovative OpenMed platform. The platform was developed to remove friction in patient, provider, payer and service organization communications using patented technology and a proprietary access-to-care network. For ancillary service providers such as diagnostic labs, durable medical equipment providers and others, OpenMed is a simple way to ensure qualified patients are expeditiously moved from need to approval of orders that require a physician’s sign-off.

Prior to joining Carenet, Devlin held executive sales and strategy roles for several diagnostic laboratories and healthcare technology companies. These included Trident & Forensic Fluids Laboratories, Molecular Testing Labs, PCLS, VWR International, DiaSorin and Siemens Healthcare.

Devlin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Michigan State University and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from Rush University in Chicago.

“Carenet Health and its OpenMed platform are in a unique position to support healthcare’s leaders and innovators—whether they are health plans, health systems, ancillary service providers or healthcare service organizations,” Devlin said. “It’s an honor to be able to join Carenet and serve our clients with cost-saving and revenue-generating strategies. Together, we can continue to change the way all facets of health information and care are accessed and delivered.”
