Carenet Health works diligently to maintain accreditations that are important to our clients and partners. These external certifications provide assurance of the highest levels of organizational commitment to security and quality.
Health Call Center Full Accreditation
URAC is a healthcare accreditation, education and measurement organization. URAC-accredited health call centers have an infrastructure that meets specific standards, in addition to certain CORE standards, for clinical staff qualifications, training and roles of non-clinical staff, telephone performance thresholds, clinical staff, training and roles of non-clinical staff, telephone performance thresholds, clinical staff response times, handling of triage calls, information-sharing, feedback to physicians and more. They must keep pace with the latest technologies and software applications to ensure protection of medical information, secure sharing and compliance with HIPAA privacy laws. Carenet has received accreditation since 2007.
National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)
Health Information Line certified within the Health Information Product standards is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of healthcare organizations and manages the evolution of HEDIS®, the performance measurement tool used by more than 90% of the nation’s health plans. Only 20 organizations have earned NCQA Health Information Product Certification.
HITRUST CSF© Certified
With the HITRUST CSF Certified Status, Carenet Health meets key healthcare regulations and requirements for protecting and securing sensitive private healthcare information. This certification enables us to better meet the information security requirements of our clients and partners, and simplifies procurement onboarding and security audit processes.
Type 2 SOC 2+ HITRUST Certified
This certification helps ensure that Carenet can meet third-party reporting needs and has internal controls that are mapped for SOC reporting. It also identifies risks associated with securing sensitive information, including PHI. The audit principles of this certification include:
