A seasoned consumer engagement executive, Mick collaborates with CEO John Erwin and the senior leadership team to advance the company’s mission of unlocking healthcare value through consumer empowerment and connection. Prior to Carenet, Mick enjoyed a successful 28-year tenure at West Corporation, where he served as president of numerous entities including West Business Solutions (WBS). In that role, he led 25,000+ team members across the globe. In 1990, he collaborated with John to launch West Outbound. Starting with a single client, they grew the business to exceed $200 million in revenue in 10 years.

Before joining Carenet, Alan held leadership roles at Evernorth Health Services, Council Capital, and eviCore Healthcare, where he advanced specialty care solutions and accountable care models. As Chief Operating Officer, Christopher brings his 20+ years of consumer and client engagement expertise to Carenet Health, guiding all facets of service delivery and client operations. Prior to joining Carenet, he served as executive integration advisor for Sitel Group and chief security officer at Sykes Enterprises (acquired by Sitel Group). During his more than 20 years at Sykes, Christopher also directed high-performance teams in client management, operations and strategic planning in the U.S. and Asia. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and has served on prestigious advisory boards, including the Forbes Technology Council.

Carlos Baltodano leads Carenet Launch, a specialized business unit within Carenet dedicated to serving startups, disruptors, and innovative ventures launched by mature organizations. With a keen focus on delivering tailored, bilingual managed service solutions, Carlos directs teams operating from Biloxi, Mississippi, and El Salvador, ensuring clients benefit from a flexible, startup-minded approach.
Carlos brings extensive experience in healthcare and managed care business process outsourcing (BPO). Prior to leading Carenet Launch, he founded Balto Health, successfully scaling the startup to serve 17 clients exclusively within Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and government benefit sectors. Carenet acquired Balto Health in 2025, recognizing its unique ability to support emerging products and markets effectively.
Carlos’s professional background includes consulting roles with managed care payer organizations such as WellCare and Molina, where he specialized in state Medicaid RFPs. He also spent over a decade in leadership positions at Imagenet and Ubiquity, directing their healthcare verticals and significantly expanding their managed care BPO capabilities.
Carlos holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Southern Mississippi, an MBA from Louisiana State University, and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University. Vikie drives Carenet’s achievement of industry-renowned client partnerships, leads the company in unifying client initiatives across the organization and ensures the delivery of high-performing solutions. Vikie joined forces with CEO John Erwin at Carenet in 2005. In 2013, she was awarded the San Antonio Business Journal Women’s Leadership Award for Corporate Leadership. A seasoned executive, Vikie has nearly 25 years of experience developing and executing consumer engagement strategies. Michael joined Carenet in December of 2021 as the COO of a digital health technology company that Carenet acquired and has continuously expanded his role since then. In his role as EVP of Shared Services he leads the training, workforce management, continuous improvement, contracting, procurement and real estate functions in our continuously growing organization. Michael brings a breadth of experience from his 25+ years leading teams across a wide variety of functions within healthcare – with deep expertise in operations and technology. Prior to joining Carenet, Michael held officer level roles within several start-ups as well as senior executive roles with UHG R&D, Blue Shield of California and HealthNet.
