SAN ANTONIO, Texas, July 16, 2020 – Carenet Health, a leading provider of healthcare engagement, clinical support, telehealth and advocacy solutions, is pleased to announce Robin Hamel has joined its leadership team as chief people officer (CPO).
As CPO, Hamel will provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure Carenet continues to grow as a people-first organization. This critically important role will enhance the organization’s commitment to world-class talent and human capital management.
Hamel brings more than 30 years of experience leading human resources organizations across multiple industries, including energy, technology and professional services.
Before joining Carenet, Hamel was executive vice president of human resources and finance at MTVP Power Corporation, a high-tech clean energy company headquartered in Austin. In addition to successfully growing the organization’s size by 23% in less than six months, she was responsible for instituting formalized performance evaluations, changing operational vendors to decrease costs and consolidating multiple offices into a single headquarters.
Hamel earned a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Baker College in Flint, Michigan. In addition, she holds numerous professional certifications.
