SAN ANTONIO (July 21, 2026)–Carenet Health, a healthcare engagement leader serving payer, provider, and health services companies, announced that Dean Van Ormer has joined as Chief Delivery Officer and Wendi Summers has been promoted to Chief Client Officer, reinforcing executive ownership across client partnerships and global delivery.
America’s leading healthcare organizations rely on Carenet to maximize revenue, reduce administrative spend, and lower the total cost of care, on a foundation of best-in-class technology, decades of healthcare engagement insights, and global operational excellence.
“With the creation of these roles, we’re strengthening how we partner with and deliver for our clients,” said Christopher Rogers, President. “Wendi and Dean bring complementary leadership that enhances both the client experience and the operational excellence behind it—helping our clients achieve better business outcomes, while delivering exceptional experiences for the patients and members they serve.”
Together, these leaders solidify Carenet’s client-centric operating model from strategy through execution. As Chief Client Officer, Summers is responsible for the growth, retention, and long-term value of client relationships. As Chief Delivery Officer, Van Ormer oversees the teams, operations, and delivery infrastructure that bring those strategies to life at scale across Carenet’s healthcare engagement programs.
Van Ormer joins Carenet with more than 30 years of experience building and transforming large, multi-site operations worldwide. Most recently at TaskUs, he served as senior vice president and head of Southeast Asia operations, leading a workforce of more than 35,000 across the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Japan. Earlier, he spent nearly two decades with Sykes Enterprises in senior operations roles across Asia and North America.
“What attracted me to Carenet is that it’s a company already doing many things exceptionally well,” Van Ormer said. “My focus is building on those strengths, standardizing them where appropriate, developing great leaders, and creating an operational foundation that continues to scale alongside our clients.”
In close collaboration with Summers and other leaders, Van Ormer will directly oversee global workforce management, implementation, training, and operations functions.
“Our clients are navigating increasingly complex challenges, and they deserve a partner who understands both their ambitious goals and the realities of execution,” Summers said. “I want Carenet to be the one they can’t imagine working without, by delivering measurable value for their businesses and the people they serve. I am thrilled to work hand in hand with Dean to make that happen.”
Summers has more than 25 years of experience leading client and operations organizations. Prior to this appointment, she led client operations and success across Carenet’s U.S., nearshore, and offshore teams, including its clinical and non-clinical health advisors.
