Carenet Health Continues to Ensure High-Quality Nurse Triage with 2022 NCQA Health Information Line Certification

Share:

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, June 1, 2022 — Carenet Health, one of the nation’s leading providers of 24/7 clinical support, consumer engagement and telehealth triage solutions, has once again earned full certification by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The certification falls under the NCQA Health Information Products (HIP) category for Health Information Line.

Carenet has achieved this NCQA certification consecutively since 2010. NCQA is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare quality, and its Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) is the most widely used performance measurement tool in healthcare.

The NCQA HIP certification involves a rigorous quality review process that assessed Carenet’s ability to develop and provide content, tools and services that help consumers make better healthcare choices. Less than 20 other healthcare service organizations are listed by NCQA as achieving this certification.

Christopher Rogers, Carenet Health’s Executive Vice President, Client Operations, said the re-certification showcases Carenet’s ongoing commitment to delivering the highest quality nurse advice and triage services to an industry focused on optimizing patient engagement and the healthcare consumer experience.

“Perhaps more than ever before, our clients are counting on us to provide outstanding information, service and care guidance to their patients and health plan members 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” Rogers said. “We want them to feel confident in their choice of partner, and this NCQA certification—which is based on a robust evaluation of our operations—is just one of many ways we can provide that assurance. We also have full accreditation as a URAC Health Call Center.”

Carenet’s team of registered nurses also has an average satisfaction score of 99%. The score is based on patient responses to a survey after interaction with a Carenet nurse.
